===========================================================================================

We have been up and running since 31/07/2010, but we could do with more items from you all.

AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE NEW POSTINGS PAGE, WE ARE GETTING ON AVERAGE 2 TO 3 ITEMS A MONTH FOR OUR WEBSITE. I AM SURE THERE ARE MANY MORE PHOTOS AND STORIES OUT THERE FOR YOU TO SUBMIT FROM YOUR TIME IN TRANSPORT COMMAND???

Click on MAXIMISE for best viewing of this site.

   We were originally known as the RAF Lyneham Old Boys Association and have been established for the past fourteen years, over that period many ex RAF bods who were in Transport Command have mentioned that they wished their station had an association, this would have given them the chance to contact old friends, and so the L.O.B.A. committee decided that L.O.B.A. would become R.A.F. TRANSPORT COMMAND VETERANS ASSOCIATION.

We are now up and running. To date we have had over 120 enquiries and 108 have joined us.

(Membership now stands at almost 300, does go over and then back down again).

If you would like to join this happy band, go to the Membership Application page, print off and please forward a cheque for £10.00 for subscriptions cheque made payable to R.A.F TRANSPORT COMMAND VETERANS ASSOCIATION, to the address on the form.

Membership year is from 1st January until the 31st December.

Many thanks to all of you have submitted photos, for the different Stations,
And for the photos on the PATRAF page sent in by Norman Munslow
and Den Drysdale, to start it of. Both in responce to Jim Semples request.
If you have a photo of you on your own in uniform plus the postings,
it would be GREAT.

Les Haines, Webmaster.

This Website was published to the Internet on 31 July 2010.

And modified on the 2nd February 2011.

Again modified on the 11th December 2011.

I have changed the page headings, to access them just go to the one with the first letter of the station you require. The stations in Black mean’s there is no  information on that page only the Station Badge, any in this blue, it has some information, once the page gets information that warrants a whole page, it will have a page of it’s own.
